1. Pour in cleaning solution or vinegar.
Make a scaled descaling solution by combining the contents of your water-scale removing bottle with an equal quantity of freshwater. Add 16 ounces of vinegar to the Travel Mug line. Then fill it up halfway with water until you reach the Max Fill line.
2. Put the carafe under the filter basket.
Put the empty carafe under the filter basket. Select a brewing size outside of “Espresso and Single Shot.”
3. Press the Clean button.
Once the countdown timer expires in 60 minutes, the machine will start engaging its cleaning cycle. It is important to not unplug or turn off the machine during this time as doing so can damage your espresso maker. Once it has been completed, you should see that light switch to red and stop flashing. You can then disconnect it from power and remove any remaining
4. Empty and rinse the carafe, water reservoir, and filter.
Take the water reservoir out and clean it with fresh water. Use clean water to rinse the carafe, filter, or both.
5. Run a rinse cycle.
Fill the reservoir with water by grabbing a pitcher and pouring it in. Afterward, replace the carafe by lifting up the brewing head. Afterward, select Full Carafe Classic Brew to start your Coffee Bar functioning as normal.”
The Ninja Coffee Bar is now clean, descaled, and ready to brew another pot of coffee.
Cleaning a Ninja Coffee Bar Regularly
To ensure your coffee bar is always looking its best and is producing delicious cups of coffee, rinse it regularly. No one likes scrubbing spent coffee, so don’t let it sit in the carafe. If there is a spill on the heating pad, wait until it cools down then wipe clean.
If you see any coffee buildup inside your carafe, wash it thoroughly with soap and water. To avoid scratching the glass carafe, use a soft bottle brush or sponge. You can also place the carafe on top of a dishwasher rack to clean it in an easier-to-reach place.
You may want to wipe down the outside of your machine. Avoid washing or scrubbing it too much, since dust and dirt can make a mess of an electric appliance’s inner workings.
You should clean your frothing wand regularly to remove gunk and dirt. To quickly rinse it, usually, after you use it, fill a cup halfway with warm water and turn the device on for 20 to 30 seconds.
For a deeper clean, detach the whisk to help remove any dirt. In the sink with soap and water, you can wash it thoroughly. If your dishwasher has a special top rack or place for that part of the coffee maker usually simply place it there instead of keeping this piece on your counter.
